Day Programs

Located less than an hour’s drive from Huntsville, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Haliburton, Minden, and Dorset, the Glen Mhor site is ideal for a day of camp fun for many schools within Muskoka and the Algonquin Highlands.

All of our programs encourage students to challenge themselves in new ways, and further develop their leadership abilities. We can accommodate and facilitate the unique experience each teacher desires for their class by inviting our teachers to select their own combination of activities. In this way, the program is tailored to the needs of individual students and objectives of their outdoor education experience.

Activities

Day Programs run from approximately 9am to 2:30pm, allowing for two to four activities, depending on the programs chosen.

Below are listed the rotation sessions offered through the Glen Mhor Outdoor Centre. Each program is an hour and fifteen minutes in length, and is facilitated by our highly trained staff. Throughout these programs, our staff will help students identify importance of personal goal setting, building resiliency through challenge, working towards common goals, and the value of trust.
