Our Volunteers

It is through the gracious efforts of our volunteers that we are able to keep costs so low for our campers. In the past season, we were blessed with the efforts of an extraordinary number of people. We would like to take this time to thank the Men's and Youth Groups of Knox, Waterloo, and the Youth Group from St. Andrew's Chalmers Presbyterian Church in Uxbridge. Some of our Alumni & Friends who have volunteered this summer include Neil "Heeckan" Joshi, Dawn " Weiller" Stouffer, Everett Elliot, and Gregg Whitty. Without the contributions of these generous people, so much would not have been accomplished!

If you would like to get involved at Cairn, whether as a member of the Camp Board, as a maintenance or construction volunteer or as a special guest to work with our campers, please contact Travis Allison or Beth Allison.

Volunteer of the Year Award

Each year, we would like to recognize the efforts of one extraordinary volunteer. This is the person who has exemplified the meaning of servanthood. Please check back at the end of our season to see the photo and description of this year’s invaluable friend of Cairn.

If you know of someone who should be nominated for the Cairn Volunteer of the Year please email us: info@glenmhorcamp.com

Work Weekend

Our Work Weekend is:

May 27 - 29: Work Weekend is the time of the year when we focus on a couple of big projects that will provide some real benefit to the campers in the summer time (ie. climbing wall).

We have had such an amazing response to our call for volunteers for the Work Weekends over the years. We offer a special thanks to the Men's Group from Knox, Waterloo who have anchored the Weekend for more than 10 years.

We have accomplished an incredible amount.
