This summer, Away at the Lake invites families and individuals to experience Cairn in a more relaxed way. Unlike our usual programs, this flexible retreat lets you choose your length of stay - from one night to the full week - while enjoying the comfort of meals provided and access to all camp facilities.
Daily programs include two facilitated activities and a variety of self-guided options - take a swim in the lake, explore hiking trails, challenge the family to lawn games, or settle in with a good book. Use Cairn as your home base for local adventures, or simply relax and enjoy a slower pace.
Away at the Lake is your chance to recharge, reconnect, and enjoy camp life at your own rhythm.

Weeklong Pricing:
Option A: $350/adult, $275/child age 5-12

The Upper Playing Field provides an open space for guests to pitch their tent, a short walk away from the hub of . Porta potties are at the edge of the field, and bathrooms are available at the main Lodge. Bring your tent and enjoy this camping stay!
Cabins
$275/week (Monday-Saturday); $70/night
The classic Cairn experience! Our cabins come equipped with five single/single bunk beds, two change rooms, lights, and fans. Cabins can be shared by one or multiple families, or a group of friends. (Maximum Occupancy: 10 people)
Lookout
$450/week (Monday-Saturday)
Offering a full private bathroom and electricity, the Lookout, or “cook’s cabin,” provides additional amenities for your retreat. Located right at the centre of site, the Lookout sleeps up to 4 guests in a queen bed and a twin-sized bunk bed, providing a private space with easy access to all activities. (Maximum Occupancy: 4 people)
Hilltop Hideaway
$600/week (Monday-Saturday)
Those familiar with Cairn may know this space as the Health Centre. Hilltop Hideaway offers a full private bathroom, electricity, and three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms sleep 4 guests each in a double bed and a twin-sized bunk bed, and the third bedroom contains a twin-sized bunk bed. (Maximum Occupancy: 10 people)
